Terms and Conditions

The minimum age for participants of Guided by Spirit workshops and events is 18 years of age.

We advise that any person with a medical condition or pregnant women contact Guided by Spirit before booking an overnight event.

All places for day workshops, themed experience events and overnight workshops and paranormal investigations need to be secured at the time of booking with full payment or a deposit of £15 and remainder of payment being received no later than two weeks prior to the event/workshop/ experience/investigation taking place.

All places for spiritual retreats need to be secured at the time of booking with full payment or a deposit of £40 and the remainder of payment being received no later than four weeks prior to the retreat taking place.

Payments are to be made as agreed between yourself and Guided by Spirit.

An optional payment plan is available via Paypal for some events and retreats. If you wish to use payment plan as a method of payment, please contact us to discuss this option and arrange payments.

Payment plans are administered at the sole discretion of Guided by Spirit.

Please note final payment plan monies to be received no later than two weeks prior to the event, or no later than four weeks prior to a retreat date. You may forfeit the right to your place, if payments are not kept up to date and paid in full. No monies shall be refunded if this occurs as it is your responsibility to make sure all payments are paid in full on time.

Please contact Guided by Spirit as soon as possible if you foresee an issue regarding your payments.

We do not wish you to lose your place and will endeavour to help you find an amicable solution to your payment issues should they arise.

Guided by Spirit endeavours to update website information as often as possible, we take no responsibility with regard to the accuracy of any information supplied to the reader or the length of time taken with the updating of information process.

Guided by Spirit reserves the right to alter event details and information due to venues and locations having to be occasionally changed due to circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to inform customers of any changes as soon as possible.

Smoking is permitted at venues in designated outside areas only, unless specifically banned by the venue.

Any person found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the event forthwith and escorted off the premises if deemed necessary. No refund shall be given for an occurence of this nature.

You are required to act in a sensible manner, without causing harm to any individual person, their belongings or the venue and location.

It is your responsibility to dress appropriately for weather conditions when participating both indoor and outside on events, please wear suitable clothing and footwear.

Guided by Spirit, shall not be deemed liable for any loss or damage to personal equipment or personal belongings of any person attending events, either during an event or afterwards.

If an overnight event is booked we advise booking accommodation to enable you to rest before travelling afterwards. If that is not possible we suggest you to rest as often as possible during your journey, with regular breaks from driving for your own safety. Anyone driving after an event does so at their own risk and at no liability of Guided by Spirit.

Guided by Spirit are not responsible for you arriving on time at events or for the route and chosen method of travel you take to arrive at the destination. Please plan your route and allow plenty of time for travel.

You are advised to consider taking out your own third party liability insurance, to cover yourself and your party attending Guided by Spirit events.

You attend events at your own risk, Guided by Spirit accept no liability for any accident or injury to your self that may arise however caused to yourself.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you further indemnify the organisers from and against all legal liability, in respect of costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of claims arising out of injury or death wilfully caused to any persons or damage to any property arising from activities at the venue.

These terms, conditions and any contract in which they are incorporated shall be subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Bookings made with Guided by Spirit means your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Refund Policy

Please notify Guided by Spirit as soon as possible if you are unable to attend an event, no less than two weeks prior to the event taking place, unless due to unforseen circumstances then please contact us as soon as you can to cancel your booking.

Due to hire of locations prior to events taking place, it may not be always possible to refund any monies paid if you cancel less than two weeks prior to the event.

Please be aware that any deposits are non refundable and will not be returned, if you should cancel a booking.

On the unfortunate occasion that Guided by Spirit have to cancel an event, we will endeavour to refund any monies paid as soon as possible.

If an event is to be rescheduled you will be given the option to attend another event of a similar type and price or receive a refund of monies paid.

All information supplied by yourself to Guided by Spirit will remain protected under the data protection act.

Your information will not be disclosed to any third party, including other companies for matters of advertisement and spam mail.

Guided by Spirit will only use your contact details supplied for contact purposes between yourself and us.

We may send you emails advertising our workshops, experiences and spiritual retreats from time to time, you have the right to decline this offer if you so wish to do so.

All money paid via Paypal is used with a secure payment gateway, between the customer and Guided by Spirit only.

Guided by Spirit has public liabilty insurance with Event insurance services.
